About Us

WhyWhisper Collective is a strategic advisory and consulting practice for those reimagining how our systems can better care for people and communities. We work alongside leaders and teams with bold visions, helping to translate those visions into strategies, programs, and workplace cultures that are sustainable, equitable, and beautifully human.

But who are we?

Hi, I’m Alex!

In 2013, I founded WhyWhisper Collective out of a deep desire to align my work with what I wanted to see out in the world: systems that truly care for people, greater access to opportunities, and an improved collective quality of life.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary leaders and teams whose visions expand my ideas of what is possible. These are people who believe things can be better — and don’t wait for change, but work to create it every day. Educators, social entrepreneurs, activists, CEOs, philanthropists, nonprofit Executive Directors, parents, artists, doctors, and more… through the organizations they lead, the teams they build, and the systems they shape, they’re reimagining what living, learning, and working can look like through a lens of equity and wellbeing. And rightfully, they need support. Together, we design strategies, programs, and cultures that are:

  • Rooted in real need, grounded in the perspectives of those most impacted

  • Aligned with organizational values, so the way we work reflects what matters most

  • Sustainable for themselves, their teams, and their communities, allowing vision to take root in ways that lasts

Our name, WhyWhisper Collective, reflects a simple belief: the best solutions emerge when we listen deeply and draw on the collective wisdom of many. While I lead most projects directly, I’m far from alone in this work. Everyday, I’m grateful to work alongside:

  • My collaborators and partners: consultants, researchers, learning designers, coaches, and facilitators who bring incredible expertise, creativity, and heart to all they do

  • Our clients, whose courage and insight shape every solution

  • The communities we serve, whose lived experiences guide what matters most

  • The broader collective wisdom of those reimagining systems of care, justice, and possibility all around us

Together, we’re working to shift how our systems function — within organizations, across communities, and in how we move through the world together, and it is my deepest honor to work alongside them in turning their bold ideas into reality.
